Each month on the first Friday we provide an opportunity for you to join with us in silently witnessing with prayer to the inestimable value of all human life.
Previously we were situated very near the access road to the hospital, providing an occasion for us to bring the message of respect for life to those who may be considering abortion or euthanasia. Both of these options are offered at our hospital.
In order to remain separate from the signs of appreciation for health care workers (which are near to where we usually stand by the hospital), and to which we do not want to appear in opposition, we will stand along the NORTH SIDE OF COLUMBIA ST. BETWEEN 4th & 5th AVENUES, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.
All else will remain the same — we will hold signs and pray for all aspects of the pro-life cause. Distancing is now more important than ever, with a minimum of 6 feet required. Should pedestrians walk by, we ask that you move aside to allow them 6 feet of space. Please wear a mask for pick-up and drop-off of signs.
Regarding parking, Pastor Joshua of First Baptist Church has given us permission to use their parking lot, which is near the spot where we will be standing.
If we have the ‘happy problem’ of greater than 50 attendees, we will break into 2 groups standing on both sides of the street.
“Could you not keep watch for one hour?”
